Real Madrid win a tough game against Getafe

Real Madrid goes four points clear on top after making it six wins out of six with a 1-0 win against a tough Getafe side.
Starting XI: Thibaut Courtois, Dani Carvajal, Sergio Ramos (C), Raphael Varane, Ferland Mendy, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Isco, Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema.
Zinedine Zidane continued to rotate his team and rest players during a congested period in the schedule. He welcomed back Ferland Mendy and Luka Modric from suspension straight into the starting eleven. He also started Vinicius Junior in place of Eden Hazard who was rested after feeling some discomfort in his ankle.
Getafe made their intentions clear early on when Maksimovic took down Isco in the 16th second of the match. The Azulones came out with aggression and intent.
Getafe had their first attempt at goal when Timor directed a glancing header towards goal. Thibaut Courtois got down to his right and kept the ball out. Minutes later, Jaime Mata took a curling shot at goal, but Courtois made an easy save.
Real Madrid struggled to build out of the back. Bordalas had his players well organized with their press, and they pinned Los Blancos back. The Merengues finally found a way out as Modric sets Mendy through, and the French left-back squares a near-perfect ball for Vinicius Junior, but the Brazillian got denied but Soria with a brilliant save.
Raphael Varane gets replaced early because of an injury, and Eder Militao takes his place in the back four.
Zidane's men improved as the game went on and dealt better with Getafe's press. A decent ball over the top by Sergio Ramos met by Isco taking a shot at goal, but Soria punches the ball out.
Halftime (Real Madrid 1 - 0 Getafe)
Getafe came out of the blocks with the same energy they started the first half. They made life difficult for the Royal Whites and pressed with intensity.
However, Real Madrid was calm under pressure and did not give anything away. Isco laid the ball for Modric, who took a long-distance shot at goal. His effort got deflected for a corner.
Real Madrid needed some energy and quickness in their play to break Getafe down. Zidane introduced Fede Valverde, Marco Asensio, and Rodrigo replacing Luka Modric, Isco, and Vinicius with a triple sub.
The three subs made things lively for Los Blancos. Asensio skipped past his marker before sending a pull-back to the center of the box. Benzema got to the ball, but his resulting effort was weak and off the mark.
Los Blancos finally made the breakthrough after Dani Carvajal made a lovely run into the box before being brought down for a penalty. Sergio Ramos stepped up and buried it past Soria's left to score the winning goal.

The Azulones were well organized and solid defensively. The away team pressed with intensity and suffocated Los Blancos' offensive game.
Zidane's men did well to suffer through some difficult period of the game before coming out victorious. These are the games you need to win to become champions.

Sergio Ramos: The captain was fantastic at the back and also scored the winning goal.
Dani Carvajal: He ran non stop and had a sound defensive performance with three tackles, two clearances, and two blocks. He also earned that penalty that led to the winning goal.
Casemiro: The Brazillian consistently shields the backline with his impressive reading of the game. He also made a game-high six clearances.
